OUR START

Pioneering Marine Solutions for Over 60 Years

Founded in 1963, C.G.V. Antony & Sons embarked on its journey in ship and marine electrical service and repair work and grew into Sri Lanka’s leading marine engineering firm. With a foundation built on expertise, trust, and innovation, the company expanded into life-saving appliances, fire protection solutions, and vessel maintenance, serving shipping lines calling all ports in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Building on the expertise of three generations, our ongoing commitment to ensuring vesels optimal sea-worthy condition, enables us to be at the helm in the global maritime industry.

Our Leadership

Roy Anthony

Director

A Marine Engineer by profession, he served as an Engineering Surveyor (Hull & Machinery) at the Hellenic Register of Shipping in Piraeus, Greece. He is an Associate Member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects (UK), and a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (USA), Institute of Engineers & Ship Builders (UK), Society of Structural Engineers (Sri Lanka), and the Association of Consulting Engineers (Sri Lanka).

He currently serves as President of the Ship Repairers Association of Sri Lanka, Vice President of the Sri Lanka–German Business Council, and is a Past President of the Sri Lanka–United Kingdom Society.

Rukshila Antony De Seram

Director

A Naval Architect by profession—and currently the only female Naval Architect in Sri Lanka—she holds a Master’s in Business Management from the UK and is a qualified Lead Auditor with Lloyd’s Register of Shipping. She has also lectured on Ship Stability at the Sri Lanka Ports Authority University (Mahapola, Colombo).

She is an Associate Member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects (UK) and a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (USA). She is also the Past President of the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association, Sri Lanka.
